01 — Overview

Project overview

iTwin.ai is a content operations platform for creators and personal brands: it turns a single idea into a finished, on-brand short-form video and publishes it directly to Instagram, Facebook, YouTube, LinkedIn, and TikTok from one dashboard. Our team designed the full product experience, from onboarding through the content planner, video selection and preview, multi-platform publishing, and the settings that let a creator train the platform on their own brand voice and visual style.

02 — The Challenge

The challenge

Consistent short-form content is a full-time job: coming up with ideas, writing hooks and scripts, sourcing or editing video, captioning it on-brand, and publishing it separately to five different platforms — every single day. The product had to compress that entire pipeline into one planner a solo creator or small team could actually keep up with: an idea becomes an outline, a script, and a caption; a video gets selected or uploaded and previewed with the creator's own text-overlay styling baked in; and publishing to every connected platform happens from a single screen instead of five separate ones.

03 — The Approach

The approach

01

Designed a brand-DNA setup wizard capturing tone, audience, and posting cadence in under 5 minutes.

02

Designed a swap-and-regenerate pattern for a "3-click edit" feature.

03

Designed a production pipeline view showing scripts, editing, scheduled, and delivered stages.

04 — User Journey

How a creator actually uses it

A new user signs up, verifies their email, and lands on a short onboarding video explaining how to get value from the app before they ever touch the planner. From there, the whole workflow lives in one place:

01

Plan. An idea is logged in the planner table, then developed into an outline, a script, and a caption, with a status badge tracking where each piece sits.

02

Select or upload a video. From a library of stock videos or their own uploaded clips, searchable and filterable, attached directly to the planner row.

03

Preview. A mobile-frame preview shows exactly how the finished video will look with the creator's own text overlay styling applied, before anything goes out.

04

Publish. One modal lists every connected platform with a per-platform checkbox and a single Publish action - or a scheduled one.

A separate My Videos library holds every uploaded clip for reuse across future content, and Settings lets a creator train the platform on their own brand: a custom text-overlay style, and a written "My Info" profile the platform draws on to keep generated hooks, stories, and captions in the creator's own voice.

05 — Key Features

What the platform actually does

Content planner with status tracking

Every piece of content moves through Outline, Script, Caption, Video File, and Publish as columns in one table, with colour-coded status badges.

Stock and personal video library

Videos can be selected from a searchable stock library or a creator's own uploaded My Videos collection, both available from the same picker.

Branded text-overlay styling

Background colour, opacity, font family, and font colour are all configurable in Settings, with a live mobile preview.

AI writing trained on the creator's voice

A dedicated "My Info" knowledge base keeps generated hooks and captions from sounding generic.

Multi-platform publishing

Instagram, Facebook, YouTube, LinkedIn, and TikTok connect as accounts, each showing a live Connected status - publish to any combination from one modal.

Guided onboarding

A short "How It Works" video plays immediately after signup, with a single "Continue to the App" action.

06 — Platform & Technology

A note on the technical stack

A screenshot tells you what a product does, not what powers it underneath — so rather than guess at frameworks, here's what's actually verifiable from the interface itself. The platform connects to and publishes across five real, named social networks: Instagram, Facebook, YouTube, LinkedIn, and TikTok, each with its own live connection status and linked account. Beyond that, the visible, confirmable building blocks are a multi-step content pipeline with persistent state across planning, video selection, preview, and publishing; a searchable, filterable media library; a customer-configurable rendering step (the text-overlay styling with a live preview); email-based authentication with verification; and a scheduling system for multi-platform posts. Those are the functional building blocks we can speak to with confidence, rather than naming specific frameworks we can't verify from screens alone.
